How Tokenization Works

Payment Profiles transactions take place over two secure steps. Dedicated payment accounts are created for the merchant's customers using a specially designed web form or a custom API integration. Beanstream assigns a unique alphanumeric token (or code) to each customer and stores all billing information securely on our certified servers. When it comes time to make a payment, the merchant passes the customer's token to the Beanstream gateway. No need to store or send confidential payment information with each transaction!
