Beanstream Named to VIATC 25 Top Technology Companies.

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA - October 21st, 2005

Beanstream is pleased to announce that it has been named to the "VIATeC 25" for the second year in a row. The VIATeC 25 is a listing of the top 25 technology companies headquartered on Vancouver Island based on revenue. Vancouver Island is British Columbia's second largest technology centre with over 1100 technology companies located in the region. The full list can be viewed at http://www.viatec.ca/V25/.

2005 VIATeC 25 Highlights:

• The VIATeC 25 have a combined revenue of $367,031,913 for an average of $14.7 million in annual revenues.
• This represents a $58,168,544 increase in revenues from those produced by last year's VIATeC 25 list of companies, a 19% increase.
• The 2005 VIATeC 25 enjoyed average annual revenues of $14.7 million, up from $12.3 million the previous year.
• The total number of full-time positions at 2005 VIATeC 25 companies increased from 1446 in 2003, to 1723 in 2004, also a 19% increase.

KPMG assisted VIATeC with the development of the survey and gathering and compiling the resultant data for the final list. VIATeC is a not-for-profit, industry-driven venture, which actively promotes and enhances the development of the advanced-technology industry on Vancouver Island.
