Beanstream Named to VIATC 25 Top Technology Companies

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA - December 7th, 2006

Beanstream is pleased to announce that it has been named to the "VIATeC 25" for the third year in a row. The VIATeC 25 is a listing of the top 25 technology companies headquartered on Vancouver Island based on revenue. 2006 VIATeC 25 Highlights:

• The VIATeC 25 have a combined revenue of $795 million for an average of $31.8 million in annual revenues.
• This represents a $258 million increase in revenues from those produced by last year's VIATeC 25 list of companies, a 41% increase.
• The total number of full-time positions at 2006 VIATeC 25 companies is 2441.

KPMG assisted VIATeC with the development of the survey and gathering and compiling the resultant data for the final list. VIATeC is a not-for-profit, industry-driven venture, which actively promotes and enhances the development of the advanced-technology industry on Vancouver Island.
